A Two-Day Training Session Held Within the Framework of the UNIGreen Project
The two-day training and consortium meeting of the UNIGreen project, held at International Hellenic University, marked an important step toward strengthening sustainability in higher education.
The first day focused on the application of the self-assessment tool developed by IHU, which aims to evaluate sustainability practices at the managerial level. Through a structured and reflective process, participants examined ways in which institutional strategies, decision-making processes, and governance frameworks can be better aligned with sustainability principles.
This exercise goes beyond assessment, laying the foundation for evidence-based improvements, informed planning, and more responsible leadership in advancing sustainability within institutions.
The meeting concluded on the second day with productive discussions, alignment on future steps, and a strengthened shared commitment to advancing sustainability in higher education.
